PvPI Internship Programme 2026: You study pharmacy, medicine, nursing or dentistry, and you want a job in drug safety. But most drug safety jobs ask for some real work experience, and college rarely gives it. This internship puts you inside India’s own medicine safety system, run by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) in Ghaziabad.
Still, read the rules before you fill the form. This is not a paid internship. You don’t get money. Instead, you pay a fee to join. The training is in person, not online, and no room is given. So your travel, food and stay costs are on you. Also, the notice does not say how many seats there are or how interns will be chosen. So don’t treat the form as a sure seat.
Below you will find the fee for each duration, the courses that can apply, the rules you must accept before you pay, and the steps to fill the registration form. Every detail here comes from the IPC notice on ipc.gov.in, checked on 31 October 2026.

What is the PvPI Internship Programme?
PvPI means the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India. Pharmacovigilance is the work of tracking the bad side effects of medicines after people start using them. The programme works under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and its main office is called NCC-PvPI (National Coordination Centre).
This internship is meant to build a trained team of young people for this field. You learn how side effect reports are collected and checked in real life, not just from a book.
PvPI Internship Fees and Duration
You can choose how long you want to train. The fee depends on the duration you pick, as shown in the table below:
| Duration | Fee |
|---|---|
| 1 month | ₹2,000 |
| 3 months | ₹5,000 |
| 6 months | ₹10,000 |
You pay this fee only after you are selected, not when you fill the form.
PvPI Internship Eligibility
If you want to join this internship, you must be studying or have finished a graduate or postgraduate course in one of these fields:
- Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Medical Sciences
- Dental Sciences
- Nursing
- M.Sc. Clinical Pharmacology
- M.Sc. Clinical Research
- Allied Health Sciences
The notice gives no age limit and no minimum marks, so final-year students and fresh graduates can both try.
PvPI Internship Rules Before You Pay the Fee
Many students miss these rules and get stuck after selection. We have put them in one place, so please read them once before you apply:
| Rule | Details |

| Refund | Not given once paid |
| Laptop | Bring your own |
| Training Place | NCC-PvPI or any AMC in India |
AMC means Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre, often a medical college, so you may not get a centre near your home.
