Karnataka PGCET 2026 Extended Round: You may have missed a seat in the earlier rounds, or you want a better college than the one you got. This extra round gives you another chance. The Supreme Court ordered it on 29 October 2026, and it fills seats that stayed empty or were not taken up after the 13 to 15 October allotment.
Many candidates lose this chance for small reasons. Options from the older rounds are not carried forward, so an empty list means no seat. The caution deposit is a big amount, and you must pay it before option entry. The deposit window also closes on 3 November, one day before option entry ends. Some earlier allottees had to act by 31 October, 6 pm. Missing any one date can cost you the round.
Below, you will find the dates, who can join, the deposit amounts and the steps to enter options. The dates and amounts follow the KEA extended round schedule, cross-checked on 3 November 2026.
